Kody, bald with a thick mustache and a black T-shirt, talking to camera in front of a wall of framed tattoo flash.

Real,
not perfect.

Husband, dad of two, and a regular guy a few steps ahead. I'm sharing family, faith and fitness one day at a time.

My story

Kody talking to camera in his studio, framed tattoo flash on a navy wall behind him.
Telling it straight, one chapter at a time.

I grew up in a broken home. From the outside I looked fine, but inside I carried a lot of anger I didn't know what to do with, and it took me down a road where I became a borderline drug addict.

The real version, not the perfect one.

Faith found me young, but I walked away and kept running. God never let go of me.

Today I'm a husband and a dad of two, chasing the dad I wanna be. In mid-2024 I started my fitness journey at about 300 lb, and on Father's Day 2026 I launched Fit Dad Kody to share it: the real version, not the perfect one.

I'm not a guru. I'm a regular dad a few steps ahead, figuring out family, faith and fitness one day at a time.

Same guy.
Two years apart.

From about 300 lb when I started in mid-2024 to about 225 lb today. Still in it.

Before: Kody shirtless in a bathroom mirror selfie at about 300 pounds, 2024.
